Gurugram-based EdTech startup, CollegeDekho Group has acquired Getmyuni and IELTSMaterial in a deal valued more than INR50 Crore. The acquisition enables CollegeDekho Group to hit a 4X revenue run rate growth over its last year’s numbers and scale further to maximize growth this year. GoStudent acquires UK-based Seneca Learning and Spanish Tus Media Group

As part of its aspiration to become the number 1 global school and a leading education provider, Vienna-based education technology platform GoStudent has announced the acquisition of two European EdTech companies – Seneca Learning and Tus Media. With the acquisition, GoStudent aims to leverage the strategic fit between these EdTech platforms.

Dutch EdTech startup Studytube acquired Springest

Dutch education technology platform Studytube has acquired Springest, a top-tier European training-booking marketplace. The Dutch scale-up has also raised US$30 million Series B investment round to scale up its product development team and boost European growth. Info Edge acquires Juno Learning

Info Edge has acquired a 25% stake in Gurugram-based EdTech startup Juno Learning for INR11.25 Crore, as per the company regulatory filing. Juno Learning is among the best EdTech companies that offers interactive, online school services that teach sales techniques, processes and tools to students and entry-level professionals.

LectureNotes acquires CollegeShala

One of the best EdTech companies LectureNotes has acquired CollegeShala, as announced on January 22, 2022. The amount of the acquisition deal has not been disclosed. The deal that has taken place is an all stocks deal and all the three co-founders of ColleShala will be handling the core responsibilities of the LectureNotes. Zenius acquires Primagama

Zenius, an Indonesia-based edtech startup, has acquired Primagama, one of the biggest offline tutoring services in the country, for an undisclosed amount. With this acquisition, Zenius will support Primagama with relevant technologies to help it better serve students, as well as strengthen the quality of its teachers, curriculum, and facilities. On the other hand, the tutoring service will help Zenius complement its online offerings with offline services.

Teachmint acquires MyClassCampus

Lightspeed Venture Partners-backed EdTech platform Teachmint, operated by Teachmint Technologies Pvt. Ltd, has bought MyClassCampus, an educational enterprise resource planning software, which enables campuses with end-to-end digitization of their operations, management and communication. It is surely one of the most interesting merging and acquisitions in EdTech in Q1 2022.

Eupheus Learning acquires SchoolMitra

Eupheus Learning, Business-to-business (B2B) EdTech firm, operated by Proficiency Learning Solutions, has acquired software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based platform SchoolMitra, for an undisclosed amount. This acquisition will make SchoolMitra’s 21st century school OS accessible to 20,000+ schools of Eupheus Learning, simplifying the lives of all the stakeholders, including parents, teachers, students and the school administration.

Cengage Group acquires Infosec

Cengage Group, a global education technology company serving millions of learners, has entered into an agreement to acquire Infosec, a leading cybersecurity education provider, for US$190.8 million (£146M). With this acquisition, Cengage Group will expand into the cybersecurity professional training market and meaningfully increase the size of its rapidly growing Workforce Skills business.
