CBSE

This IBM AI teacher training is meant for enhancing skills about AI among teachers

The significance of artificial intelligence in education is the most-discussed topic these days. While some are skeptical that  artificial intelligence will take control over education to the detriment of students and educators, others guarantee that artificial intelligence will reform and improve education.

While we’re a long way from seeing robots in the classroom, artificial intelligence is advancing into education. Certain tasks can be made simpler using artificial intelligence. Evaluating, for instance, is possible rapidly and effectively utilizing artificial intelligence.

To plan students for the careers of today and for the future, teachers should explore and incorporate AI into K-12 classrooms. Artificial intelligence is a crucial component of any STEM educational curriculum. All things considered, it’s a technology that is now advancing toward classrooms as digital assistants, adaptive software, and recommendation engines.

Teachers are the key to training students to flourish in this current world where AI is a vital part of their lives and careers. More and more teachers are now taking part in professional learning programs that give training and resources to help students learn and develop skills about AI.

Similarly, in India, the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has declared that it will be conducting IBM AI teacher training. This  teacher training is meant for CBSE class 12th for 2021-2022. This cutting-edge program is a capacity building programme in Information Technology and Artificial intelligence for the educators of CBSE Affiliated schools. This step by CBSE will clearly add more weightage to an educator’s capabilities in the present technologically advancing times.

As the name suggests, CBSE has partnered with IBM for this training program. The program will take place between June 2 to July 14, 2021, which is totally free of cost. Covered for 3 days with a total 5 batches in this program, teachers will be trained on different aspects of AI.

From kindergarten to graduate school, one of the key ways artificial intelligence will transform education is through the use of more greater levels of individualized learning. Some of this is taking place through growing numbers of adaptive learning programs, games, and projects. These systems adapt to the needs of the student, putting more noteworthy accentuation on specific topics, relearning things that students haven’t excelled in, and by and large, assisting students with working at their own speed.

This sort of exclusively custom-made training could be a machine-assisted solution for aiding students to work with different people in one classroom, with educators facilitating the learning and offering assistance and backing when required.
